    • Preventive treatment in people suffering from frequent recurrences: 2 tablets, 2 times a day, in continuous treatment for several months.

    • Treatment of ocular herpes infections: 2 tablets, 5 times a day.

The dosage should be adjusted in case of decreased kidney function.
