CONTRAINDICATIONS OF THE DRUG ACTISOUFRE
This medicine should not be used in case of sulfur intolerance .
FERTILITY, PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
The effect of this medicine during pregnancy or lactation is not well known. As a precaution, its use is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND DOSAGE OF THE DRUG ACTISOUFRE
Pressurized bottle: the solution must be sprayed, after careful blowing, into each nostril for 2 or 3 seconds. It can also be sprayed directly into the mouth and then swallowed.
Ampoule: shake well before use. The persistence of an insoluble deposit in the bulb is normal. The contents of the ampoule can be diluted in a glass of water and swallowed during meals. It can also be used in nasal irrigation after introduction into the dropper bottle .
USUAL DOSE:
By mouth :
Adult and child over 5 years old : 2 vials per day or 1 spray 3 times per day.
Child under 5 years old : 1/2 to 1 phial per day or 1 spray 3 times per day.
Nasally :
Adult and child : 1 ampoule in each nostril twice a day or 1 prolonged spray in each nostril 3 times a day, head tilted back.
Infant : 1 spray in each nostril twice a day, in a lying or sitting position, head tilted to the side.
TIPS
For more comfort, it is preferable to let the solution cool down before using it for irrigation.
Rinse the dropper bottle thoroughly under running water after use; let it dry upside down.
