This drug is a powerful antiviral . It blocks the multiplication of the herpes virus within infected cells.
It is used in the treatment of herpes of the genitals.

CONTRAINDICATIONS OF THE DRUG ACICLOVIR RPG CREAM
This cream should not be applied to the eye, or inside the mouth or vagina.
ATTENTION
This medication treats herpes outbreaks but does not eliminate the virus from the body. It therefore does not prevent the occurrence of other crises.
FERTILITY, PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
This cream can be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding on medical advice.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND DOSAGE OF THE DRUG ACICLOVIR RPG CREAM
Treatment should be started at the first symptoms announcing a herpes outbreak .
USUAL DOSE:
5 applications per day.
The duration of treatment varies from 5 to 10 days.
TIPS
Herpes is a contagious disease. Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the cream or in case of contact with the lesions; in particular, absolutely avoid touching your eyes with contaminated fingers. The maximum of contagiousness corresponds to the appearance of vesicles.
Abstain from sexual intercourse until the lesions have healed.
