Requirements for telemedicine:
Each telemedicine unit should be equipped to do the following:
1. Interactive visual communication:
- Fast speed. Both directions at a high speed.
- Video surveillance cameras on site Picks. Remote.
Capture and transfer still images:
- Capture and transfer high resolution video footage.
- The digitization and transfer of X-ray images and magnetic resonance devices with advanced quality.
3. Transferring sound:
- Transferring sound clearly with the normal volume of conversation from a distance of up to twenty feet.
- Accurate audio transmission for diagnostic purposes, processed with electronic earphones attached.
4 - integrated multifunction fax machine: transfer, receive and print digitized documents and electrical heart charts.
5 - white panel interaction diseases: review and rewriting the images of the two sides.
6 - Video Wires / Additional Camera:
Wiring up to three video cameras or fixed cameras for specialized applications such as laparoscopy and pathology.
7. VHS integrated video cameras: Capture the image and audio consultant for each interaction for authentication purposes.
8. Method of communication: use different communication methods in order to access the information quickly and as follows:
- Wireless network connecting hospitals must be high speed.
- Internet connection for transferring files and obtaining data.
- Satellite connections to remote areas where access to telephone services, eg e-government, is not possible.
9. Network protocols: The network uses industry standards for communication protocols for digital medical images such as DICOM and HL7.
