Purpura corticosteroids:
Is a purpura caused by a lack of support of blood vessels.
Local topical steroids such as Dermovate, when used for a long time, may cause dilatation of collagen dermis and dilate capillaries as blood vessels lose their ligaments and become fragile and rupture causing a localized perforation rash.
