Thrombocytopenia may be primitive (unknown) or occur due to unknown or secondary factors due to several factors.
Secondary thrombocytopenia
Different internal and external factors may cause platelet thrombocytopenia:
1 Drugs:
The most common medications that occur in a purpura are:
Antibiotics: such as ampicillin penicillin chloramphenol fryampicin sulfonamides and trimethoprim.
Analgesics: Salicylic Acid Vinyl Butazone.
Other drugs: quinine, quinidine, cidoride and thiazides.
Chemical substances: benzole and snake marking.
3 Infections: Tetanus typhoid fever Smallpox Smallpox Vaccine Influenza scarlet fever and sub-acute bacterial pneumonia.
4 Bone marrow disease: leukemia Anemia, a malignant anemia is the most common cause of thrombocytopenia.
5 Splenic hypertrophy: May be associated with purpura.
6 vascular hemangiomas: thrombocytopenia may be associated with vascular tumors.
Wiscott Aldrich Syndrome: (Thrombocytopenia).
8 UREMIA: Rare in children who have thrombocytopenia purpura, bleeding with fever, ankylosing anemia and neurological and renal symptoms.
9 Physical factors: such as a blow to the sun.
