- Used to treat oral influenza
- Mechanism of Action:
Mechanism of Action Prevents the spread of the influenza virus inside the body by inhibition of the enzyme NAI = Neuramidase Inhibitor given 75 mg twice daily (BID - Twice) for five days for children and adults until the drug Oseltamavir and its commercial name Tamiflu, May have been effective in treating or preventing bird flu. In Basel, the pharmaceutical giant Roche Group said it would raise its production capacity for Tamiflu against bird flu from now until 2007, and to a greater extent its demands.
