Small intestinal obstruction.. Enter the ring of the intestine in the hernia. Slide part of the intestine into another part. Adhesions caused by previous surgery

Small intestinal obstruction:
The "acute abdomen" may result from the intestinal obstruction, which impairs the passage of food or feces. Common causes are: Entering a ring of the intestine in the Hernia where it is suffocated or a portion of the intestine disappears into another part.
If the cause of the small bowel obstruction is clear and the surgery can not be avoided (such as the hernia), then the surgery should be performed as an emergency. If the suspected cause is adhesions from previous surgery, seek non-surgical treatment first.
If the signs of gastrointestinal aneurysm develop (cholangic pain becomes persistent, peritoneal inflammation, rapid heartbeat, fever) the surgeon resorts to surgery.
