Acute surgical abdomen.. Very severe and persistent pain in the abdomen with constipation and vomiting. Close the intestines or remove the intestinal obstruction and treat the inflammation with antibiotics or surgical removal

Acute surgical abdomen is the name of a number of sudden and severe intestinal cases that often require emergency surgery to prevent death. Acute abdominal cases account for 50% of all emergency admissions in general surgery units.
Gastric or duodenal perforation, acute appendicitis, or intestinal obstruction are examples of acute abdominal pain. Other causes in women include ectopic pregnancy (ectopic pregnancy).
The cause is often not known until the surgeon opens the abdomen and examines it.
The patient complains in acute abdominal cases of severe pain and very persistent in the abdomen with constipation and vomiting, and shows the test belly bulging, cruciferous or fossilized. This patient should be taken to hospital immediately because his or her life is at risk and surgery may be necessary immediately.
Treatment is generally determined according to the injured member, where the perforations are closed, or the intestinal obstruction is removed. Inflammation cases are treated with antibiotics or by surgical removal.
The speed and necessity of surgical intervention depends on a number of factors, most important of which are the presence or absence of peritoneal peritonitis (a serious condition that necessitates surgical operation in an urgent manner).
