CONTRAINDICATIONS OF THE DRUG ACETYLCYSTEINE EG LABO CONSEIL

This medicine should not be used in the following cases:
  • child under 2 years old,

  • phenylketonuria (presence of aspartame).

ATTENTION

This medicine can only be used on medical advice in the event of chronic bronchitis in adults or chronic respiratory disease in children.

Precautions are necessary in case of ulcer of the stomach or duodenum .

Do not use a cough suppressant in addition to this medicine without the advice of your doctor or pharmacist.

DRUG INTERACTIONS ACETYLCYSTEINE EG LABO TIP WITH OTHER SUBSTANCES

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND DOSAGE OF THE DRUG ACETYLCYSTEINE EG LABO CONSEIL

This medication can be taken with or without meals.

The contents of the sachets should be dissolved in half a glass of water.

USUAL DOSE:

  • Adult and child over 7 years old : 1 sachet, 3 times a day.

  • Child from 2 to 7 years old : 1 sachet, 2 times a day.

Treatment can be discontinued as soon as symptoms improve . Its duration should not exceed 8 to 10 days without medical advice.

Uncommon (1-10% of patients): itching, rash , hives , low blood pressure , fast heart rate, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, inflammation of the mouth, diarrhea , headache, buzzing of ears.

Rare (less than 1% of patients): difficulty in breathing, difficulty in digestion.

Very rare (less than 0.1% of patients): anaphylactic shock , bleeding, potentially serious bullous skin reaction.

Worsening of bronchial congestion and risk of respiratory complications, especially in infants .
