The Bank seeks to conserve plant assets, animal assets and micro-organisms where these assets are exposed to a range of persistent threats and climate changes.
The Bank also conducts long and continuous operations, including exploration, inventory, collection, characterization, valuation and conservation of all of Egypt's genetic assets.
The variation in genetics within each species will also be studied and the difference between this species and other species will be examined.
