Fish male distinctive.. Hormonal treatment and mating to obtain the thickness of the memory of large size and free of hormones

In humans, sex is determined genetically by the chromosome (X-specific female sex) and chromosome (Y-specific for the sex of the anniversary), but in fish the story is different where genes and the environment play an important role in sex discrimination.
Where male XY can be converted to female but functionally and visually with the survival of the genotype fixed by hormonal treatment and vice versa for the female (XX).
In 1995, researcher Cheryl Goudie of the Stoneville Research Unit of Fish in the State of Stoneville used the phenomenon to obtain male yy (Super male YY) through hormonal treatment and mating. The advantage of this method is to obtain the thickness of the memory of large volume and free of hormones.
The method was used with two species of fish, Tilapia and Catfish.
