The Cell Membrane.. A two-molecule lipid membrane separates intracellular fluid from the outside of the cell and is associated with internal and external proteins

The Cell Membrane:
The cell membrane is a 5-nanometer, two-molecule lipid membrane that separates intracellular fluid from the outside of the cell. Lipides are mainly composed of phospholipids, phosphatidylinitol, phosphatidylinositol and are composed of sterols and saturated and unsaturated fatty acids. High permeability of hydrophobic particles and low permeability of water-loving hydrophilic molecules.
The cell membrane is associated with internal and external proteins. In vitro proteins are globular proteins that extend to the double membranes and usually express bilayer membranes and are trapped inside the membrane due to water-hatred and electrostatic interactions. Protein can form channels, carriers, or pumps to enable polar molecules to cross the membrane.
