Inflammatory media cause:
- Expansion of blood vessels: causing erythema redness of the entry of the sensor, if spread vascular expansion causes low vascular resistance and low blood pressure and shock.
- Increased vascular permeability: cause swelling in the tissue (edema), if spread caused by lack of blood volume and shock, and also cause narrowing of the airway in the bronchi, causing difficulty breathing.
- Incitement to production of mucus: causes airway tightness.
- Caution nerve endings: causes itching and pain in the skin.
