Molluscs and arthropods.. Invertebrates. Insects, crabs and spiders. The mollusks body is protected by a cochlea

Division of molluscs:
This system follows the group of invertebrates, one of the most diverse and widespread systems on the surface of the globe.
Most mollusks live in water, but molluscs can also be found on land.
The mollusks are soft, and in most cases they are protected by a cochlea.
Examples: Shells and snails.
Division of arthropods:
This division follows the group of invertebrates.
All arthropods have common characteristics. For example, all pairs of legs have joints (hence the name of the division).
The division of arthropods is divided into five categories, including insects, crabs and spiders.
Animals in the two categories are similar, but the insects have six legs, while the spiders have eight legs.
The fly and the butterfly (both of which follow the insect class) are more similar to each other than the spider (which follows the spiders).
The three animals (which follow the arthropods' division) are more similar to each other than the fish (which follows a completely different group: the vertebrates).
An example is the insect class, which has the highest number of species among animals. There are more than one million species of insects, all of which have the following characteristics: an external skeleton containing chitin and three pairs of legs (total six legs).
Most have wings and sometimes sensors (sensor horns). Examples of insects: beetles, bugs, fleas, lice, flies, ants, bees, bedding, dragonflies, mosquitoes.
