How do we treat a patient who refuses treatment?
The answer now is: the patient has the right to refuse treatment if he is fully aware of the risks that await him because of the refusal of the treatment, provided that he is fully qualified and aware of the facts presented, to document his rejection of the witnesses and to review his decision with a doctor other than the one who offered the order at the beginning of treatment.
The patient may lose his or her fitness (eg, coma) and can not express his or her opinion.
As a precaution in such cases, the law's authors suggested that the patient or his family sign, if not in a state that allows him to express his will, a statement stating: "I have seen adequately from Dr." ...
