Congenital lip pits and fissures:
* It results from the formation of a furrow in the lip (often lower) at an early stage of embryonic growth and tightness in adjacent tissues, or as a result of failure to connect the embryonic parts of the lip.
* Be mono or double-sided on the red edge of the lip.
* The lower lip often affects the sides of the middle line or near the mouth joint.
* Infected lip: swollen, oral fistulas may be formed if contact with the oral salivary glands after closing and the discharge of saliva (saliva).
