Canning Olive Oil.. Facilitate storage, transport and marketing operations in a manner that ensures the preservation of oil from external factors that affect its quality

The manufacture of olive oil is an important and necessary industry in most of the countries producing this food, especially in the oil exporting countries. The industry has recently developed a remarkable development and there are many methods and models used for this purpose.
The process of packaging has facilitated storage, transport and marketing operations in a way that ensures the preservation of oil from external factors that affect its quality.
In the Syrian Arab Republic, the process of storage, transportation and marketing of oil depends on 20 liter tin cans. Potato containers are still used at the household level. Plastic containers are sometimes used. Glass and barrels are used to store oil at the same time and in some traders. Required for packaging:
1 - To be non-oil for oil (dielectric).
2- The containers shall be non-toxic and contain foreign compounds that cause pollution of the oil such as iron minerals.
3. Easy to market and use (opening and closing).
4. The packagings shall not be affected by air, light and heat oxygen.
5. Economical and desirable by the consumer.
