All of which are still expensive but may have the cost-effectiveness of secondary cardiovascular disease prevention as well as primary prevention in some high-risk patients.
Since none of these drugs were found to be significantly more effective or less expensive than others in the group, none were included in the model list; the choice of the drug used for high risk patients should be determined at the national level.
