Diagnosis of sexual impotence usually depends on the clinical and psychological description of the patient, the history of the medical condition and the patient's medication. Usually, the specialist doctor can diagnose the psychological weakness of the description, but it is possible to be sure that there is no organic reason for the work of some complementary tests such as blood tests for the examination of sugar and fat as well as the measurement of the rate of male hormone and white hormone. The doctor may sometimes use an artificial erection to inject a stimulant into the penis and act as a sonar to the blood vessels. This examination is not mandatory in all cases, but may be considered necessary, especially during the evaluation of cases of severe sexual impotence in which the patient may need the operation of the prosthesis.
