In Gaucher's disease;
a. Glycoprotein is accumulated.
b. Glucocerebrosidase is deficient.
(b) Gaucher's is a glucosylceramide lipidosis (lysosomal storage disease). It is caused by ↓ glucocerebrosidase enzyme leading to accumulation of glucosylceramide → HSM and pigmentation of exposed parts.
