External QC program means?
a. An external person come & does the QC test
b. A QC person goes to another lab & does the test.
(b) In EQC, participants receive QC material to be tested inside their labs. Results are sent to supplier to be compared to other labs' results.
EQC will be most practically implemented during the regular visit of the lab coordinator. This will give opportunity for errors to be investigated on site and corrected rapidly (Monica).
