Severe mixed immune deficiency:
This term refers to a syndrome that shows several distinct genetic disorders with the same clinical and immunological manifestations.
This syndrome is characterized by metabolic disorders with adenosine deficiency, diaminazine, purine nucleoside phosphorylase, protein deficiency in the binding protein and DNA imbalance in the production of interleukin 2.
Death is common in the first months of life.
Clinical manifestations:
The patient shows severe severe deficits in the functions of both T and B lymphocytes.
Phenomenon of mucous membranes:
Systemic candidiasis and mucosal candidiasis are the most common manifestations. Skin febrile infections may occur and may appear to be chronic dermatitis.
