Omenn's syndrome:
Is a family syndrome characterized by an autosomal recessive state. Most of the events are skin and exhibit a disorder that reflects the proliferation of T lymphocytes and at the expense of B lymphocytes.
The disease is fast and deadly, with frequent growth failure and infection.
Skin manifestations:
- Diffuse skin rash and reddish wavy.
General features:
- hepatic hepatic hyperplasia and generalized lymph nodes.
- Chronic diarrhea.
- May occur in some cases.
- Hyperlymphocytes and leukemia.
- B cell loss and decreasing levels of all immunoglobulin except IgE.
Treatment:
- Bone marrow transplant is just the real therapeutic hope for these babies.
