Epidermolysis bolosa simplex.. Special bubbles on palms and soles occur due to friction or trauma

Epidermolysis bolosa simplex:
Is a dominant hereditary (dominant) type, characterized by the formation of special bubbles on the palms and soles caused by friction or trauma. The lesions become clear when the baby starts to crawl or walk, where the bubbles appear after a slight trauma or minor friction.
Curing or rupturing the bubbles takes a long time without leaving scars on the skin.
Hair, nails and mucosa are not sticky.
Treatment:
Preventive measures are the main line of treatment, which includes reducing friction or trauma using soft or open shoes.
Incidental treatment:
- Treatment of secondary infections.
Corticosteroids are helpful in severe cases.
- Topical fluoridated steroids (cream) for skin lesions.
- Caution should be taken in treatment due to the possibility of absorption of concentrated steroids as the skin is elongated and this leads to absorption more leading to undesirable side effects.
- Sodium citrate orally 2 3 times daily may lead to good results.
- Dissolution of epidermal epidermis.
