What are the genetic causes of William's syndrome?
1. Most cases result from the deletion of part of the seventh chromosome and individual cases are non-hereditary.
2 - There are few cases that are genetic and can be transmitted from one parent to the child.
3. The cause of this defect, like all other chromosomal abnormalities, is not entirely known.
