The lip:
When taking a vertical section of the lip, we note that it consists of structural muscle fibers forming the orbital orbital muscle orbiclaris oris embedded in fibrous connective tissue.
The lip on the outside of the skin is covered with follicles and hairs, sebaceous glands and Sweat gland.
The tip of the free lip, called the transitional zone, is the epithelial tissue, which contains an eleidin that makes it transparent, and the dermis is under it on a network of thick capillary blood vessels that give red color to this part of the lip but does not contain hair follicles or glands Greasy or ethnic.
The inner part of the lip is covered with a mucous membrane composed of a non-corneal, thick, epithelial epithelial tissue located on a layer of dissected connective tissue called lamina properia. A large number of labial glands are present within this layer.
