Cerebellum:
In the vertical section, the surface of the cerebellum is characterized by its many facets, and the white matter is found inside. The medulla is formed while the gray material is outside the cortex. The cortex can be distinguished into three layers from the outside to the inside:
1. The outer molecular layer
This layer contains a large number of non-spinal nerve fibers and a few small nerves that can be distinguished into two types:
Stellate cells are located near the surface and have short protrusions.
B-cells are long-axis and lateral branches located closer to the middle layer (the layer of volcanic cells).
2. Purkinje cells layer
These cells are large in size and are spherical form whose branches branch very much within the outer molecular layer and have a single axis that moves towards the core and has a large nucleus.
3- Inner granular layer
This layer consists of small neural cells that are close together, extending their axes to the molecular layer.
The medulla area is homogeneous with fibrous nature.
