Permeability glycoprotein:
P-glycoprotein (P-glycoprotein) is an external ATP-dependent pump that is responsible for pumping substances outside cells and is involved in the development of tumor resistance in tumor cells. Para-glycoproteins in the membranes of the intestines, liver, kidney cells, and also in the blood brainbarrier cause the possibility of producing this pump to have a profound effect on the absorption, distribution and expelling of the drug, as well as in drug interactions.
