1- Return food to the soil.
2- Nitrogen fixation in soil.
If this is not done, the material will be consumed from the soil and therefore we will need to use more fertilizers.

Is the conversion of nitrogen gas N2 to nitrogen compounds that benefit the plant (where the bacteria that live in the nitrogen nodes of legume plants).
