Fecal examination.. Hemorrhage in the gastrointestinal tract (red blood cells). Bacterial infection in the intestinal wall (white pellets). Parasites. Hidden Blood Screening

Fecal examination: In order to investigate:
- erythrocytes that indicate hemorrhage in the digestive tract.
- Leukocytes that indicate bacterial infection in the intestinal wall.
- Parasites such as: dysentery (which spreads in our country at a very high rate).
- Invisible blood screening: By placing a certain substance (stool) for stool during the examination and then add oxygen water and thus have two possibilities:
A hidden hemorrhage: Degenerated pellets that are thirsty for oxygen water and take it (the pigment oxidizes with oxygen) and does not color the dryness.
B- There is no hemorrhage.
- 99% of positive cases of hidden blood test indicate upper gastric hemorrhage, and 1% indicate bleeding from the cecum provided that it is accompanied by constipation.
- In rare cases, the Skotch-test is performed to detect parasites such as the disc.
