Cartilage:
It is a strong structural connective tissue composed of cells called chondrocytes, cartilage cells, and a staple containing fibers.
Cartilage is most of the body structure in the embryonic life of the individual and replaces most of the bone in the adult, but it remains cartilage above the surfaces of the bones separated and forms the structure of the support of the respiratory passages and part of the ear, and surrounded the cartilage of fibrous fibrous cartilage called Perichondrium and three types:
1- Hyaline cartilage cartilage.
2 - Elastic Cartilage.
3- White-fibro cartilage.
