These substances are the ethers in which an atom of oxygen is replaced by sulfur seed
(R.S.R1) ------------- (R.O.R1)
(Sulfide sulfide) (ether)
The most important:
1- Methionine: white platelets or white powder, amino acid, a necessary element of human food, to be absorbed by the human body.
2- Phenyl sulphide and phenyl sulfide: They are colorless liquids, have a very unpleasant smell.
3-thioethane glycol or sulfide-2 (2- hydroxyethyl). It is a liquid used to dissolve dyes in textile printing.
