Heart-based diet (soup-based):
This diet allows you to eat unlimited amounts of soups made from onion, cabbage, green onions, green peppers and a few canned tomatoes (fortified with some foods on some days as follows:
- First day: soup with fruit.
- Day 2: soup, vegetables and grilled potatoes.
- Day 3: soup, fruit and vegetables.
- Day 4: soup, eight banana beads and skimmed milk.
- Day 5: soup, mutton and tomatoes.
- Day 6: soup, mutton and tomatoes.
- Day 7: soup, whole rice and vegetables.
This diet follows for only one week, and although it is tedious it may only lead to weight loss.
However, they do not change bad eating habits.
