Treatment of acne pests that do not respond to conventional treatments in adults:
Change the biochrom to UltraMethoprim.
- Prodzinone: 2.5 mg and 5 mg at night to reduce adrenal androgens, may be useful in cases of severe unresponsive to the normal treatment lines, inhibition of androgen and adrenal leads to decrease sebum secretion and thus to improve the young pills.
Anti-androgens: such as "Diane" may be effective in controlling the severe count in young girls.
- Cyproterone Astat: (CPA) 2 mg mixed with 50 mg ethylene estradiol (Diane 35).
- 35 μg Ethylene Estradiol and 2 mg (CPA) BIDO is valuable in women with postpartum and may be preferred on other treatment methods.
- Spironolactone: 100 mg / day for 6 months is also useful in older women. When male 25 mg CPA may be used successfully.
Isotretonone: More effective than (Diane) for acne patients. For patients with mild, moderate or severe asthma or when anti-androgen is not available, isotretinoin is the treatment chosen. Isotretinoin may be useful if compared to conventional treatments and anti-androgen.
- Isotretinone is an effective drug at the same time dangerous and may cause deformities of the fetus if given to pregnant women so it is important to use it with an appropriate contraceptive. Avoidance of these drugs, especially for women, should be taken into account. Fetal malformations and other complications may occur with these drugs.
Caution and warning the patient that pregnancy should not occur until at least one or three months after stopping treatment. Pregnancy tests should be negative before using the medication and it is advised that the medication may start on the third day of the menstrual cycle.
The recommended dose is 0.5 mg / kg for younger patients and for 4 months.
Isotretinoin affects all of the predisposing factors included in the 0.5 mg dose.
