Pt 30 y has accident discoloration upper 1 no bleeding is wide space between two spaces:
1- splint.
2- exteaction 2 part.
3- Do endo for root and extract crown.

A splint is an object that will hold a cast for wearing (and its very effective).
To make a splint of a living finger rheumatism, you must stick this finger to another. A cardboard bar between the two fingers with some pieces of plaster will suffice.
Scarves are right triangles of fabric about one meter in size. They can arise in three ways:
- right scarf to support a fracture of the forearm or wrist (temporary immobilization) or to support a splint of upper limb;
- right scarf and counter scarf, for a broken arm;
- diagonal scarf for shoulder trauma.
Air splints are now discouraged by the Ministry of the Interior, Directorate of Civil Security.
There are other types of splints, the use of which is not recommended because of their difficulty in setting up and because of the complications that they can cause (inflatable splints).
They are made of washable plastic. Rigidity is ensured by the pressure of the air. They are held around the limb with a buttonhole or zipper system. They can also be used in therapy in case of spasticity.

Their advantages are:
- the low cost;
- lightness and ease of storage (they take up little space);
- they are invisible to X-rays and can therefore be left in place for X-rays.

Their disadvantages are:
- inflation being done in the mouth, hygiene is therefore a problem.
- they are fragile;
- they can not adapt to deformity, and for the lower limbs the leg and thigh must be aligned, which may require a reduction of the fracture and a realignment of the limb, which will only be under control a doctor and after sedation or a trained rescue team and only after medical opinion of the SAMU (the operation is extremely painful), before the splint.
Modeled preformed splints, sometimes called "Aluform" (trade mark, there are also Aluderm, Blue Splint ...), consist of deformable aluminum blades surrounded by padding. The splint takes the form of a gutter, possibly bent, that is placed around the member. The face in contact with the member is plasticized (washable and disinfectable), the other is velvet to allow to attach Velcro straps (scratch).
The first models (Kramer's splint, Zimmer splint) consisted of an aluminum mesh gutter; after having deformed the splint, it was necessary to garnish it, to pad it, then to attach it to the member with links.
The splint is deformed to respect the position of the limb and its possible deformations. If this is not enough, the limb should be realigned or the fracture reduced, which will be done under the control of a doctor and after sedation (the operation is extremely painful).
Once the splint is in place, the straps are positioned. These should not be passed where the person feels pain (supposed seat of the trauma).
