Cat scratch fever is an acute infection that causes infection with Bartonella henselae, which is transmitted from cats to humans as a result of scratching, biting or exposure to saline secretions contaminated with bacteria through skin or eye injuries.
Usually, the infected animal does not appear to be satisfactory, and children are more susceptible to the disease than adults.
